1. Main Structural Design of The Machine (Match the 3D Drawing)

As shown in the 3D model, this turn-mill composite machine adopts a 45° integral cast slant bed base, all guide rails use heavy-duty linear roller guides for high load capacity and stable long-time cutting.

Core components displayed in the drawing:

  1. Dual Spindle System (Main Spindle + Sub Spindle)
High-precision servo main spindle with C-axis indexing function; the sub spindle can automatically grab workpieces to machine reverse-side features without manual re-clamping, greatly improving concentricity accuracy.
  2. Y-Axis Servo Power Turret (Red assembly in the picture)
Multi-station servo power turret supports both turning inserts and milling power tools. Y-axis vertical linkage realizes radial milling, keyway cutting, inclined hole drilling and irregular contour machining, breaking the limitation of standard CNC lathes.
  3. Heavy-Duty Linear Guide Rail Platform
Double-row wide linear guides for X/Z axis, strong rigidity to resist vibration during heavy rough turning, ensuring stable surface finish of finished parts.
  4. Rear Automatic Bar Feeder Matching Interface
The left side of the machine reserves installation space for automatic bar feeder, supporting unattended long batch production of shaft workpieces.
  5. Built-In Chip Conveyor Layout
Slant bed gravity chip discharge design, chips slide down directly to the spiral chip conveyor, avoiding chip accumulation on guide rails during continuous processing.

    2. What Parts Can This Turn-Mill Machine Process?

This multi-axis composite lathe covers complex rotary and non-rotary feature machining, typical workpieces include:
    • Automotive parts: transmission shafts, brake sleeves, hub connecting flanges
    • Hydraulic components: cylinder glands, piston shafts, valve bodies, stepped sealing flanges
    • Medical precision parts: stainless steel small implant shafts, surgical instrument fittings
    • General machinery: multi-step shaft parts, cross-hole joint sleeves, eccentric flat components
Supported processing materials: 45# carbon steel, alloy steel, 304/316 stainless steel, aluminum alloy, brass. We recommend YOWAX CNMG series coated carbide inserts for stainless steel and steel rough & semi-finish turning.
